Everything is very clean – lots of pride

The days and nights are evenly split with sunrise and sunset both at 6:30 in March (cool!)

All the restaurants add 15-20% to your bill for tax and service

It’s VERY easy to hemorrhage money here if you’re not careful
Also very easy to live cheaply if you do things right

Traffic is crazy

Mopeds and monkeys and temples everywhere!

The people are very open and friendly

English is pretty prevalent throughout the island

Dress for heat and humidity!
